Foot Reflexology Training - Level 1

With Master Reflexologist Eileen Donovan, LMT

Bring your feet and learn a new modality to offer your patients, clients, friends and family! Train in a beautiful spa and healing arts center setting in the heart of the Ojai Valley, close to downtown shops and restaurants.

In this training you will learn:

• A brief history of reflexology
• A complete 60 or 90 minute reflexology flow
• Observation and evaluation of the condition of the feet and how to work with individual client needs
• Relaxing massage techniques for the legs and feet
• Reflexology techniques and zone theory including a point map of the organs and systems
• Proper body mechanics (ergonomics) and stretches for practitioners
• Contraindications and general health awareness
• How to support clients with intake-session protocol and closure
• Supervised practicum and full exchanges during training

Please bring a king-size pillow for the feet, a foot bath, lunch, and a water bottle. Also, wear loose fitting comfortable clothing. Fruit and healthy snacks will be provided at break time.

Cost of Level 1 is $425 - Early registration is $395 (Feb. 7th, 2009)
A training manual ($35) is included.

Eileen Donovan, LMT is a healing arts practitioner with more than 21 years of experience as a massage therapist and 17 years as a reflexologist. She is certified with Holly Papa, LMT a former instructor for the Laura Norman School of Reflexology in New York. Nationally certified with the American Reflexology Certification Board, Eileen trains and certifies others in reflexology and teaches in massage schools, spa centers, and offers workshops at alternative education facilities in California and around the country.
